The Podcast Operations Coordinator will oversee the backend systems, tools, and workflows that power MAXCast.
This person will ensure that every episode moves smoothly from recording to publishing while maintaining high standards for quality, consistency, and distribution.

Automation & Integrations (Optional)
Connect Buzzsprout with tools like Descript, Canva, Google Drive, Notion, or Zapier
Suggest ways to automate routine publishing or analytics tasks
Strong organizational and technical skills
Comfortable using or learning podcast tools (Buzzsprout, Spotify for Podcasters, Riverside, or similar)
Familiarity with content workflows and digital tools (Google Workspace, Notion, Canva, Descript, etc.)
Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Assets:
Previous experience in podcast production, media, or operations
Understanding of RSS feeds, podcast directories, and metadata
Basic audio knowledge or editing familiarity (Descript, Audacity, etc.)
Build hands-on experience in podcast operations and digital media management

MAXCast is the official podcast and media platform of Muslims Achieving Excellence (MAX) — a national professional organization that connects Muslim leaders across business, government, academia, and the non-profit sector.
Through interviews, panels, and short-form storytelling, MAXCast amplifies the voices of Muslim professionals, founders, and changemakers who are shaping the future of excellence across Canada and beyond.
As we expand our reach on YouTube, Spotify, LinkedIn, and Instagram, we’re building a small, creative team to help us plan, edit, and share meaningful content every week.
As a Media & Content Volunteer, you’ll support the production and distribution of MAXCast episodes and media content.
You’ll collaborate with the host, producers, and social media team to bring our stories to life — from editing interviews to designing posts and helping grow our audience online.
Depending on your strengths and interests, you’ll get to:
🎧 Edit & Produce Content
Edit long-form and short-form podcast/video clips using Descript, CapCut, or Premiere Pro
Create reels, teasers, and highlight clips for social media
📅 Coordinate & Schedule
Help organize recording sessions and manage posting calendars
Prepare episode notes, upload descriptions, and schedule posts
📱 Manage Social Media
Draft and schedule posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
Create visuals and audiograms using Canva or Descript
Track engagement and brainstorm new content ideas
Passionate about media, storytelling, and community representation
Reliable, creative, and comfortable working remotely
Excited to learn digital tools and grow your skills
Able to dedicate 5–10 hours per week
Assets:
Experience in video/audio editing or social media management
Knowledge of Canva, Descript, or similar platforms
